User Data Deletion Instructions

AleafChat provides AI automation tools for business owners managing reviews and social interactions. In accordance with Meta Platform Rules and global privacy regulations (including GDPR and CCPA), we respect your right to have your personal information and connected social data permanently deleted.

If you have connected your Facebook Page or Instagram Business/Creator Account to AleafChat, you can request or execute the deletion of all associated data using any of the methods below.

Method 1: Instant In-App Disconnect & Deletion (Recommended)

You can instantly revoke our access and purge all stored OAuth tokens from our database directly inside the AleafChat dashboard:

  1. Log in to your AleafChat Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Connect Accounts from the sidebar.
  3. Select the Instagram tab.
  4. Click Disconnect Profile.

* This immediately deletes all encrypted access tokens, webhook subscriptions, and profile associations from our active database.

Method 2: Remove App via Facebook Settings

You can also remove AleafChat permissions directly through your Facebook Account settings:

  1. Go to your Facebook Profile's Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  2. In the left sidebar, navigate to Apps and Websites.
  3. Locate AleafChat (or your app name) and click Remove.
  4. Under Removed Apps and Websites, click View next to AleafChat and click Send Request to trigger an automatic data deletion request.

Method 3: Submit an Email Data Deletion Request

If you no longer have access to your account or wish for complete erasure of your profile and history across all systems:

  1. Send an email to privacy@aleafchat.com with the subject line: “Meta Data Deletion Request”.
  2. Include your registered email address and your connected Facebook Page or Instagram username.
  3. Our data privacy team will verify your request and permanently erase all associated records within 48 hours, sending you a written confirmation code upon completion.

Data That Will Be Permanently Erased

Upon executing a deletion request, the following data is permanently purged:

  • Encrypted Facebook & Instagram access tokens and secret keys.
  • Instagram profile metadata (user ID, account name, profile picture URLs).
  • Direct message conversation histories, quick reply telemetry, and intent logs.
  • Lead capture and contact information collected through DM flows.
  • Active webhook subscriptions on your Facebook Page.
